INTRODUCTION

Lighthere Studios ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Stack Overload Attack mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Service.

Player names for high score entries (stored locally on your device only)
Game preferences and settings (stored locally on your device only)

We do not collect ANY personal information including names, email addresses, phone numbers, or location data
We do not collect or transmit any data to external servers
We do not access your contacts, camera, microphone, or other sensitive device features
We do not collect financial or payment information (our app is free-to-play)
We do not use analytics or tracking services that collect personal data
Player names entered for high scores remain exclusively on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party

1.3 Third-Party Analytics

Our app uses Google App Analytics (part of Google Play Services) which may automatically collect certain technical information such as:

Device type and operating system information
App usage statistics (sessions, crashes, performance)
General geographic region (country/region level, not precise location)

This data is collected and processed by Google according to their privacy policy. We do not have access to any personally identifiable information through this service.

1.4 Automatically Generated Data (Local Only)

Device performance data for app optimization (stored locally only)

Player names for high scores (stored locally only)

Note: Except for the Google App Analytics mentioned above, ALL other data is stored locally on your device and is NEVER transmitted to our servers or any other third-party services.

2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION

Since we do not collect any personal data, we do not use personal information for any purpose. All game data processing occurs locally on your device for:

Providing and maintaining the game functionality
Storing your game progress and preferences locally
Maintaining local high score records
Optimizing app performance on your device

3. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY

3.1 Local Storage Only

ALL game data is stored exclusively on your device. We do not operate servers that store personal data and we do not transmit any personal information over the internet.

3.2 No Data Transmission

Your high scores, player names, game progress, and all other data remain on your device at all times. Uninstalling the app will remove all associated data.

3.3 Security

Since no personal data leaves your device, the primary security responsibility lies with your device's built-in security features.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

Our app uses the following third-party services:

Google App Analytics (for app performance and usage analytics)
Google Play Services (Android) / Apple App Store Services (iOS) for app distribution and updates

Google App Analytics collects technical and usage data as described in section 1.3. We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or data collection services. Any data handled by these platform services is governed by their respective privacy policies:

Since our app does not collect any personal information whatsoever, it is inherently compliant with COPPA and safe for children of all ages. No personal data is collected from users of any age.

6. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR AND UK GDPR COMPLIANCE)

Since we do not collect or process any personal data, most GDPR rights are not applicable. However, you maintain complete control over any data on your device and can delete all app data by uninstalling the application.

7. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA COMPLIANCE)

Since we do not collect any personal information, CCPA rights regarding data collection, sale, or deletion are not applicable to our service.

8. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Since we do not collect or transmit any personal data, international data transfer regulations do not apply to our service.

9. COOKIES AND TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES

Our mobile application itself does not use cookies or tracking technologies. However, Google App Analytics may use similar technologies to collect usage data as described in their privacy policy.

10. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy and updating the "Last Updated" date. Changes are effective immediately upon posting.

11. LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING (GDPR)

Since we do not process any personal data, GDPR processing requirements do not apply to our service.

12. DATA CONTROLLER INFORMATION

As we do not collect or process personal data, traditional data controller obligations under GDPR do not apply to our service.

13. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

Any disputes relating to this Privacy Policy shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.

14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIGHTHERE STUDIOS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

15. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS. LIGHTHERE STUDIOS DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

16. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lighthere Studios and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

17. SEVERABILITY

If any provision of this Privacy Policy is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary so that this Privacy Policy will otherwise remain in full force and effect.

18. GOVERNING LAW

This Privacy Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to conflict of law principles.

19. ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Privacy Policy, together with our Terms of Service, constitutes the entire agreement between you and Lighthere Studios regarding the use of the Service.
